"...Suddenly, she stopped. Something felt wrong. Very wrong. And, sure enough, before she could even react, something quickly engulfed most of her. A second later, and she felt herself pinned against a toothy palette and a squishy tongue. With a quick swallow, she felt herself being eaten, watching as the mouth of the predator closed, sealing her in almost pure darkness. A few moments later, and she slid into the creature’s stomach, which expanded to accommodate such large prey. Cerulean, undignified, angrily kicked at the stomach walls. “Hey!!! What’s the big idea?!?” She heard a loud reverberating chuckle around her. “Sorry, Cerulean. But I’m hungry. And I needed an excuse to try out that trick.” Tyler. She indignantly pushed at the surrounding flesh. “Tyler, I swear!!! Let me out of here!!!!!” The Tylosaurus chuckled. “Sorry, but I can’t. You’d get caught on my palette, I’m afraid. You’d just end up in my tummy again. But don’t worry! You know about the trick, right?” Cerulean sighed. “Right.” She rested her head down on the fleshy floor. “Hey,” she heard Jay begin, “Are you okay out there?” “Well, I guess I wasn’t the only one with an idea, I’ll just say that.” Jay chuckled. “Sounds like you’re in the same situation as I am.”..."
